When it comes to planning out flowers for your wedding, you’ve got a lot to think about! The flowers for the ceremony, the reception, each table, your bridal bouquet, one for each of your bridesmaids, boutonnieres for your groom and his groomsmen…. that’s a lot to remember! But don’t leave out the mothers of the bride and groom! Though they don’t need their own bouquet, I’m sure they’ll be touched that you remembered them with a gorgeous wrist corsage.
Keep their flowers simple, but glamorous for the best effect. One big blossom will be stunning, such as this one below.

If you’d like something a little more rustic, check out this lovely corsage. It looks like you could have picked some beautiful wildflowers on the way to the wedding and made it yourself! See the rest of this brightly colored and uniquely long wedding (it lasted two days!) here.

But if you’d like a mother of the bride/groom corsage that is not only beautiful, but also lasting, consider a corsage made of something other than flowers (and while you’re at it, check out my previous posting on paper flowers called Paper Poppies and Peonies). This handmade corsage on Etsy is crafted out of balsa wood, but looks like a live rose. If cared for, it’ll last a lifetime! Buy this and similar ones on Etsy here.
I’m sure a little corsage will make your mother of the bride/groom even more sentimental and touched that you thought of them for your special day.
